The story of Rapunzel always intrigued me in that there is a simplicity to it that would be fun to make more complicated. A maiden locked in a tower who had hair long enough she was able to use to let others in yet at any time she could have cut it and used it as her own escape.
I think it can serve to remind us that we can place ourselves in towers unknowingly. And that we have the power to do something about it once we realize it. We don't have to wait for some outside force to make the first step. (can you tell I was inspired by the Princeless?? Love it!)
