Beauty's Beastby *DarkSunRose

My favorite all time fantasy story has always been Beauty and the Beast. I've read a few versions but always it talks about the selfless daughter and the selfish Beast.

I always wonder about her request for a rose. Something so simple becomes more burdensome then all the jewels and dresses her sister ask for.

So I ask myself, what is the fun in a story if only one needs to change? A Prince who must learn kindness can only be taught by woman who must learn to be selfish. How much more fun would that be then just focusing on the beastly creature?

I'm hoping to submit this to the Monsters & Dames Artbook for Emerald City Comic Con.

I truly LOVE this drawing. You are very talented!! I enjoy reading Fairy Tales have have a soft spot in my heart for all the characters. Because of your drawing Beauty and Beast have jumped to the top of my ist of favorites!!! (Did I mention I just think this is beautiful?)
