My name is Melissa Pagluica (Pal-E-You-KAH)
I'm a full time artist that works on stories and Illustration while traveling to different comic conventions. I recently had a successful Kickstarter that raised $43,000 with over 1000 backers for my graphic novel Above the Clouds. It was originally a biweekly webcomic that updated for 5 years before being turned into a book. My background includes work as a cover artist for Boom! Studios, Vault Comics, Committed Comics, and illustration for the online magazine Strange Horizons.

MY PASSION: I looooove stories. As a kid, I fell in love with animations such as The Sea Prince & the Fire Child, The Last Unicorn, and Sailor Moon. Stories that take you on a grand adventure, but hold a little bit of sadness -- the kind that pull at your heart strings and make you cry ugly tears.
My goal is to become a better storyteller. I have a long journey ahead of me, but I hope you enjoy the ones I've created so far!

Even if everything seems like its not gonna get better or when the world seems like a dark place,remember that you are the only one who can make a light shine and show you the way to the path you wanna walk in.
Its okay to depend on other some times.But there will be times where you will have to fight your battles on your own,but the people that support and love you will be there to give you strength to keep fighting.
So don't give up!Cause you can do it!
Ps. I am sorry a few days early but during this time I will be undergoing check-ups in a hospital where the internet is not working best and sometimes even hangs ^ - ^ happy birthday again
